About
The programmes at Rethinking Focus are designed to nurture and support adolescents and their families through the practice of mindfulness.
Rooted in the evidence-based principles of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I offer practical tools for navigating life’s challenges with greater awareness, resilience, and compassion.
At the heart of my approach lies the importance of attitude- how we meet each moment shapes our ability to connect, learn and grow. Alongside mindfulness practice, I weave in the reflective benefits of mindful journaling. Journaling, much like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), has been shown to bring lasting positive effects for mental health and emotional wellbeing.
I have a particular interest in supporting those living with ADHD, offering approaches that encourage focus, emotional regulation, and self-acceptance.

My work is grounded in the latest neuroscience research, backed by decades of scientific studies on mindfulness, and enriched by a wealth of lived experience. I believe in offering programmes that not only rest on solid foundations, but inspire real, meaningful change for young people and their families.

At Rethinking Focus my mission is to empower young people to thrive—not just academically or socially, but in their overall wellbeing.

Research shows that mindfulness can reduce stress, improve self-regulation, and support healthier relationships, giving teens and their families practical skills to navigate challenges with greater calm and connection.

My programmes are created to help adolescents handle big emotions with greater ease, respond rather than react, and find balance in a world that can often feel overwhelming.

By nurturing these skills, I aim to create a foundation for wellbeing that will serve not only today, but into the future.
